Oceanica 832 is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium on the sixth floor of Building C at Oceanica Condominium, North Ridge, Playa Flamingo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This single-story residence measures 1,367 square feet (127.00 square meters). An elevator provides access to the condo. An open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area share the floor and open onto a tiled balcony with panoramic beach, marina, and mountain views.

The condominium building is perched on a hillside in the heart of Playa Flamingo. The community is gated and offers 24/7 security, a doorman, and complimentary guest parking on the premises. Guests share an infinity pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping overlooking the ocean, together with comfortable pool loungers, a covered rancho lounge, and a barbecue area equipped with a grill and picnic tables. The pool is a short walk from the beach.

Inside, the living room is decorated with comfortable couches and chairs, tropical artwork, and a flat-screen television. Complimentary air conditioning and wireless internet run throughout the entire condo. An in-unit washer and dryer sit alongside an iron, hangers, and clothing storage. Bed linens, towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer are provided, and hot water is supplied.

The tiled living-room balcony holds custom-made wood furniture, a granite cocktail bar, a ceiling fan, and ambient lighting. Sunrise and sunset are when the panoramic outlook across beach, mountains, and marina is especially striking. Shaded bedroom balconies also face the ocean, and waves can be heard from those seats as they reach the shore.

How the rooms are arranged

The primary bedroom contains a king-sized bed, a large walk-in closet, a dresser, and two nightstands. A sliding glass door leads onto a shaded balcony with ocean views, and the ensuite bathroom includes a rainfall showerhead. The second bedroom contains two twin beds, a dresser, a bedside table, and a spacious bathroom with a venting window, plus two shaded balconies of its own.

Bedroom beds accommodate four guests. A sleeper sofa accommodates two additional guests in the shared living area. A Costa Rican wood dining table seats six guests, while the breakfast bar at the kitchen countertop seats two. Both bedrooms offer ocean views and walk-in showers. The residence is suitable for children ages 2–12 and for infants under 2. A safe, a laptop-friendly workspace, and long-term stays are part of the offering.

Cooking and gathering

The fully equipped kitchen is built for preparing meals. High-end granite countertops, Costa Rican wood cabinets, and drawers stocked with cooking supplies accompany stainless steel appliances: a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, an oven, and an electric stove. A coffee maker, blender, toaster, kettle, rice maker, ice maker, cookware, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet complete the working kitchen.

Upon arrival, a welcome basket from Special Places of Costa Rica contains coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, cooking oil, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and other essentials, plus a bottle of Salsa Lizano. Those items start the first day; they do not replace a grocery shop for a longer stay. Shopping, dining, and entertainment in Playa Flamingo are a short walk from the building, so meals can be cooked indoors or taken in the resort community. A private chef can be reserved when a meal at the condo is preferred.

The pool, the beach, and the marina

Playa Flamingo’s sandy shore and Flamingo Marina are a short two-minute walk from Oceanica 832. The beach is known for pillowy-soft white sand, blue water, and calm conditions that make snorkeling and diving popular. Fishing charters, sailing excursions, and catamaran rides depart from the marina nearby. Scuba diving, surfing, ziplining, and horseback riding can be reserved separately through Special Places of Costa Rica.

Playa Flamingo is a high-end resort community about a one-hour drive from Liberia International Airport, positioned between other popular beach towns on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Special Places of Costa Rica can also arrange car rentals and transportation services. Guest parking on the premises is available when a vehicle is included in the trip.

Timing, payment, and house rules

Arrival begins at 3:00 p.m. and departure is at 10:00 a.m. Luggage drop-off is allowed. Starting rates, in U.S. dollars, are $111 nightly with a three-night minimum, $105 nightly with a seven-night minimum, and $89 nightly with a thirty-night minimum. Rates move with market-wide supply and demand. Monthly rentals can include additional fees for electric consumption or cleaning. A 50 percent advance payment secures the reservation through wire transfer, credit card, or cashier’s check and is applied toward the rent, not held as a damage deposit. The balance of rent is due thirty days before the arrival date.

Before arrival, guests complete an independent TRUVI process and select either a refundable security deposit, including a non-refundable 2 percent processing fee, or a non-refundable damage waiver. Instructions come by email, text, or app notification. Incomplete steps can mean denied access and a forfeited rental without refund.

Cancellation terms are firm. A 100 percent refund applies when cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival. A 50 percent refund, minus the service fee, applies at least 30 days before arrival. No refund applies when cancellation falls inside 30 days. Bookings overlapping Christmas and New Year’s are non-refundable. A 5 percent cancellation fee plus 13 percent sales tax on the total booking amount applies, or a minimum of $75 plus 13 percent. Refunds return to the original payment method after processing fees. Travel insurance is recommended for unforeseen situations.

Pets are not permitted. Emotional support animals are not permitted, and no exceptions are made. Guests who arrive with an unapproved pet are denied access. A smoke detector is present.
